Questions and answers
What people ask Dunrite Metal Buildings before they buy.
- Is the price I am quoted the final price?
The quoted price includes delivery, installation and anchoring. Local sales tax is on top of that. We do not work out a tax rate for you — someone on our team will go over it with you.
- Do I need a concrete slab?
A slab is never required. Most buildings go on level ground or gravel and are anchored. We can also build on a slab you have poured yourself. We offer concrete pads through a third-party contractor within 50 miles of West Monroe, Louisiana — tell us the town or zip where the building is going and someone on our team will check whether it falls in that contractor's area. Concrete cannot go on rent-to-own.
- How long does installation take?
Installation runs 3 to 4 weeks from order, weather permitting.
- How do I pay, and when is money due?
We take card, check or money order. The deposit gets your building ordered, and the balance is due once the building is built. On rent-to-own there is no balance at the build — the first note is due 30 days after install.
- Is there a warranty?
There is a 20-year warranty on materials and 90 days workmanship on the installation.
- Do you sell used buildings?
No. We do not sell used — everything we build is new and built to order.
- Do you handle insulation or interior finish-out?
We do not sell or install insulation; we recommend finding a local spray-foam insulation company once the building is up. For barndominiums we build the shell only, not interior framing, plumbing, electrical or fixtures.
- How do I get a price?
Get in touch with the size and type of building you have in mind and where it is going. If you have a budget to work to, or a question about the price, someone on our team will reach out about it.
